With a new resolution, the European Parliament can demand Georgia to start a war with Russia. This is stated in the statement of the political council of the ruling "Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia" party, reportsLenta.
"Taking into account the current trends, in the next resolution of the European Parliament, Georgia will most likely be openly asked to start a war with Russia," the party said about the possible demand.
The statement also reminded about the five resolutions already adopted by the European Parliament regarding Georgia. Among them, in particular, it was demanded to impose sanctions against Russia and the honorary president of "Georgian Dream" Bidzina Ivanishvili, as well as to release the former president of the country, Mikheil Saakashvili.
