The examination of the motion for arrest of Lieutenant General Tiran Khachatryan was postponed for one hour. It should be noted that Tiran Khachatryan was arrested this morning.
The examination of his petition for arrest was scheduled at 18:00 at the Avan (Masiv Court) seat of the court of first instance of general jurisdiction of the city of Yerevan.
Judge Masis Melkonyan will examine the petition for detention. Khachatryan's lawyer Varazdat Harutyunyan said that the charge against Tiran Khachatryan (military official negligence during martial law), which he does not accept, is related to some circumstances of the 44-day war.
