In the morning, national hero, Major General Tiran Khachatryan was arrested. ABC media talked with Hamest Yeritsyan, the general's wife.
According to him, the investigative committee visited their house around 9:30 in the morning and told them that they have an arrest warrant. Tiran Khachatryan got acquainted with the accusation on the spot and told his wife that it refers to the 44-day war.
"I don't understand what the accusation is about. Maybe that's why they blame him for not being killed."
And according to Tiran Khachatryan's lawyer, everything is leading to arrest and most likely the general will be arrested at the end of the day.
