The message of the third President of RA Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays.
"Compatriots, today we are sending off another year full of trials, losses and difficulties, which, unfortunately, did not remain in the past. We are entering a new year with increasing problems, many worries, without losing, however, the inexhaustible vitality and bottomless character of our people. the optimism that I would very much like had solid foundations.
In this difficult period full of dangers and challenges for our people and state, it is necessary to be circumspect and vigilant, not to believe the shameless lies and empty promises of the rulers of Armenia, who brought the country to the brink of destruction, to look only at the facts.
Let's distinguish fake from reality, let's not tolerate those who fight endlessly about peace, but the state is in the clutches of a never-ending war, the country suffered a shameful defeat in the 44-day war, handed over Artsakh to the enemy, ceded territories from Armenia and obsessed with keeping their own seat, ready to do anything to justify the defeat in the war at any cost. .
They have no shame, no morals, no conscience, no honor, and finally, no Homeland. Let's physically and mentally be with the families of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Artsakh Liberation War and for the defense of Armenia, physically and mentally, and be supportive and sympathetic to those deprived of their homes. to thousands of our compatriots, whether in Yerablur and Tsitsernakaberd, Dadivank and Amaras, in Gandzasar and Ghazanchetsots. The power of the mind is powerful, and let our prayers also reach those sacred and sacred places for us.
In order to write the history of our successes and victories from a new line and depth, it is necessary to put an end to the previous humiliating, bloody and nightmarish period.
I urge you not to fall into the trap of the false promises of the power grabbers once again, to do everything to get rid of these anti-national authorities that have become the henchmen of the enemy, to be responsible to our generations, to hold fast our national values, which have been trampled on at every step for seven years.
The peace of our families, the future of our children and the existence of the state demand this from each of us.
