The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia Artur Poghosyan today received the delegation led by Chen Min, Chargé d'affaires of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia.
Artur Poghosyan welcomed the ambassador's chargé d'affaires to the RA Investigative Committee and emphasized the mutual understanding and trust formed between the law enforcement bodies of the two countries, as well as emphasized the cooperation formed in the framework of mutual legal assistance.
Chen Min, Chargé d'Affaires of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to RA, congratulated the Chairman of the Investigative Committee on his appointment and thanked him for the initiative of the meeting.
Reference was made to the educational and familiarization visits made by the members of the Investigative Committee to China during the previous year, which, according to the chairman of the Investigative Committee, testifies to the high level of cooperation between the law enforcement systems of the two countries.
The parties, among other issues, agreed to activate bilateral contacts in the direction of mutual legal assistance, further expansion of cooperation in the field of information security, as well as organizing necessary courses for the purpose of exchanging experience in the detection of money laundering and transnational crimes.
