What can be said about the results of the past year, in our case, the consequences?
Unfortunately, but also predictably, 2024 was a "regression year" for Armenia not only in terms of the calendar, but also territorially, politically, qualitatively and in a number of other aspects.
At least since 2020, the "years of retreat" have continued in Armenia and their end is not yet in sight. Considering that by renouncing Artsakh and handing it over to the enemy, they solved their main problem, Pashinyan and CP set out to satisfy other hostile demands, in particular the territories of Armenia to Azerbaijan. to deliver.
Pashinyan's government named it "demarcation and demarcation".
With the decisions of some incomprehensible commission, citing unconvincing and dubious "grounds", the Armenian territories and positions in the Noyemberyan region of the Tavush marz were given to the enemy, and Kirants, Voskepar and other neighboring border settlements came under the direct control and attack of the enemy.
The "Tavush for the Motherland" movement started from Kirants, led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the spiritual leader of the Diocese of Tavush of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
It can be said that the main internal political events of the year were recorded within the framework of this movement. they wouldn't even take two steps together.
However, this movement did not reach its main goal. Nikol Pashinyan and his CP continued to be in power. In terms of internal transition, 2024 was also a year of retreat from a social, economic and moral political point of view.
The government headed by Pashinyan increased and continues to increase Armenia's debt, which is approaching the 13 billion dollar mark. There was no significant economic movement and could not be.
The social tension has increased, especially since the amount of various taxes continues to increase, and the prices of goods and services continue to increase.
In terms of education, the year was a disgrace, be it the issue of "Adi and Budin" level textbooks or the diabolical project to destroy the country's universities and scientific institutes under the name of the so-called "Academic City".
Instead, 2024 was a lucky year for Pashinyan. He rode a bicycle in different capitals of the world, took pictures, so he already has a good collection of cycling photos.
Nothing. If before that, foreigners did not take Armenia seriously, after that, Pashinyan's government continued to fulfill other Azerbaijani demands throughout the year.
So that Baku is already talking about "resettlement" of 300,000 Azerbaijanis in Armenia, if we do not count the statements about occupying the rest, including Syunik, and already the entire Republic of Armenia.
Azerbaijan's demands continued to increase and will predictably increase, and the "peace" promised by Pashinyan has not been mentioned.
And what is mentioned is not "peace", but is quite accurately defined by experts as "complete capitulation of Armenia". In terms of foreign policy, 2024 was not a "retreat" but a decline year, thanks to Pashinyan's rule.
Although there were opportunities to get some international support and get the Armenian hostages out of Baku prisons, Pashinyan's government did practically nothing for it.
On the contrary, Pashinyan even "rolled a stone" in the direction of Ruben Vardanyan, who was in the Azerbaijani dungeon. Returning to the government itself, it seems that in the middle of the summer, Pashinyan's team began to collapse on itself.
In any case, there were shameful internal confrontations in the CP, which were not so long ago to be recalled in detail.
But, no matter what we say, we "enter" 2025 with such a government, which, in addition to everything, is full of marked hostility towards the Armenian Apostolic Church and, in general, every nationality.
A government whose rating is striving for the mark of Pashinyan's favorite point. We will soon enter the key political crisis in 2025. For 4-5 years, the country has been ruled by a group of people who have surrendered their homeland to the enemy and publicly disowned it.
This is the main question, and it has not yet received its logical solution.
