Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Lithuania

On December 27, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budris.

Minister Mirzoyan warmly congratulated his Lithuanian counterpart on assuming the post and emphasized the readiness to continue developing the cooperation between the two countries on solid foundations with joint efforts.

The interlocutors referred to the multi-layered agenda of partnership between Armenia and Lithuania, which includes a number of directions of mutual interest, from democratic reforms to active sector cooperation and strengthening of resistance.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Kestutis Budris discussed the prospects of deepening the RA-EU partnership, emphasizing the continuous support provided by Lithuania in this direction.

Ministers of Armenia and Lithuania also exchanged ideas on regional developments. Minister Mirzoyan presented the efforts being made in the direction of normalization of relations with neighbors, establishment of stable peace in the South Caucasus and effective overcoming of the existing challenges.
