The EU has extended the sanctions against Iran for one year


The Council of the European Union has extended the restrictive measures against Iran in connection with its alleged support for Russia's military operations against Ukraine. The extension of the sanctions in the EU was also explained by Iran's support to the armed groups operating in the Middle East and the Red Sea region.
