Areg Gevorgyan, a member of the "Civil Contract" faction of the Yerevan Council of Elders, submitted an application regarding the premature termination of the authority of the member of the Council of Elders.
Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan said this at the session of the Council of Elders.
"According to CEC protocol No. 19 of December 11, 2024, the mandate of the member elected from the electoral list of the "Civil Agreement" party of the Yerevan Council of Elders and whose powers were prematurely terminated was given to the next candidate of the "Civil Agreement" party electoral list, Ashot Sargsyan, said Avinyan.
He also informed that the next session of the Yerevan Council of Elders will be held in 2025. on February 11.
