The anti-corruption court, presided over by judge Vahe Dolmazyan, rejected the petition of the defenders of RPA Vice President Armen Ashotyan, who is under house arrest, to allow online communication with members of the RPA General Assembly.
After the court session, Armen Ashotyan's defense attorney Tigran Atanesyan said that the judge had no instructions on what to do under these conditions.
"If in the case of Arshak Srbazan, no one would blame the children, here, you can imagine, Ashotyan says: I want to communicate with my boss, maybe their boss should decide what to do," said the defender.
Out of the 17 witnesses in the case, two more have been interrogated, the interrogation of the third is in progress. Tigran Atanesyan mentioned.
"What are the witnesses about? May of nothing. Apparently there is no bread. The mention of those witnesses is a formal thing in the movement to restrict Armen."
