In the US state of Wisconsin, a 15-year-old girl shot and killed her classmate and teacher with a handgun and injured 6 people, after which she committed suicide, Reuters reported, citing the police.
The incident took place at the Christian school, which has 420 students from kindergarten to 12th grade. The shooter was a student at the same school, Natalie Rapnow. The motive of his actions is not known. One of the second graders called 911.
Two of the injured students are in critical condition. According to the K-12 School Shootings website, there have been 322 school shootings in the US this year alone. In 2023, that number was 349.
