Military journalists who participated in the coverage of events by the Syrian government led by former President Bashar al-Assad will be punished under transitional justice.
As "RIA Novosti" informs, the Ministry of Information of Syria informed about it.
"We affirm that all military journalists who participated in the information war of the ousted Assad regime and directly or indirectly contributed to the propaganda of crimes against the Syrian people will be fairly punished as part of transitional justice," the statement said.
Earlier, the Syrian newspaper "Al-Watan" reported that the high command of the opposition has forbidden any harassment against the employees of the Syrian state media.
