The EU countries have established talks on cooperation with US President Donald Trump administration, according to Bloomberg, linking to informed sources.
"EU member states have confirmed negotiations with six Persian Gulf states, as the Alliance seeks to expand its international partnerships against the threats to set customs on customs on Trump," the statement said.
EU Foreign Ministers have agreed on Friday talks on strategic partnership agreements with Bahraini, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, sources said. The EU expects the talks to start "as soon as possible" and will include a number of issues, security to energy, Bloomberg reports.
