Time will tell what steps the newly elected US President Donald Trump will take regarding the Ukrainian conflict after his inauguration, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President.
Earlier, Trump said in an interview that Ukraine's use of American missiles against Russia is an escalation of the conflict. Commenting on the statement, Peskov said that Trump's words coincide with the position of the Kremlin.
"However, at the same time, time will tell what actions will take place after the inauguration, when the elected president actually takes his place in the Oval Office," said Peskov, answering the journalists' questions.
