67 people have been arrested in Turkey after the arrest of a Syrian man who abused a child


The Turkish police arrested 67 people for the massacre in the city of Kayseri, where local residents had organized riots after the arrest of a Syrian citizen for abusing a child. The head of the Republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ali Yerlikaya, informed about this. "On Sunday evening, after local residents caught a Syrian citizen in Kayseri, who had committed violence against his relative's minor daughter and handed himself over to the security forces, some of our citizens, acting illegally, caused damage to the houses workplaces and cars belonging to citizens of Syrian nationality. As a result of the intervention of the security forces, 67 people were arrested," the minister wrote in X. The explosion in Kayseri caused a wide reaction in Turkey. According to official data, more than 3 million Syrian refugees live in the country.
