WhatsApp will end support for more than 40 smartphones. what are those models?

The popular WhatsApp messenger will stop releasing updates for 47 old smartphone models in 2024, including smartphones from companies such as Samsung, Motorola, Huawei, Sony, LG, and Apple. These devices run older versions of Google and Apple's Android 5.0 and iOS 12 operating systems, Gizchina reports. The list of affected devices includes models that have been around for more than 7 years, but some users are still using them. them. However, Meta (which owns WhatsApp) has decided to stop supporting them in order to focus on new devices and updated software. The latest WhatsApp update for these devices was released on February 1, 2020. Their owners can continue to use the WhatsApp application, but will not receive updates and therefore new features.
