Reuters. The Netherlands will ask the EU to stop the visa-free regime with Georgia

The Netherlands will ask the European Union to suspend the visa-free regime with Georgia due to mass arrests during anti-government demonstrations. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Caspar Veldkamp, within the framework of the 31st meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OSCE).

According to Reuters, the Dutch foreign minister plans to make a formal request to the EU to "let the Georgian government understand that the path it has chosen has a price."

In addition, Veldkamp will speak at the OSCE Council of Ministers session, requesting an investigation into the Georgian government and its actions.
