The special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia completely pushed out the protesters from Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, TASS reports.

The police used tear gas again. 16 participants of the action were arrested. The protesters did not resist the law enforcement officers.

The confrontation between protesters and the police continued throughout the night on Rustaveli Avenue.

Demonstrators burned garbage cans and wooden chairs in an attempt to distance themselves from law enforcement officers, and clashes broke out between them from time to time. The police used water cannons and tear gas.
