Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan, MPs Sisak Gabrielyan and Taguhi Tovmasyan appealed to the Government with the initiative to amend the law "On the Armenian National Anthem".
It is proposed to edit the text of the hymn. the fourth house is raised after the first house. In that version, the anthem ends.

Let him blow money against the enemy,
May you always find Armenia" with the quatrain.
"For a long time, I have not come across the same form of performance of the anthem of the Republic of Armenia. There is no speed standard, tempo standard. Sometimes generally a standard of duration, a standard of sound, a standard of technical parameters.
If we organize an event, during the organization of any event, for example, we pay more attention to water, wine, basturma, sujukh than to the national anthem," Prime Minister Pashinyan said at the Cabinet meeting.
According to the project, from now on every Monday before the start of classes, it will be mandatory to sing the national anthem not only in schools, but also in kindergartens and colleges.
According to the current version of the law, the national anthem is played during the opening and closing of official international competitions held in the Republic of Armenia. It is suggested to perform the anthem also during the award ceremonies that take place during that time.
With the proposed amendment, it is proposed to remove the following part of the law: the version of the anthem is valid until the text and music of the new anthem is defined.
And in certain cases stipulated by the law, the government can allow the use of a short version of the national anthem.
