Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will not participate in the CSTO summit to be held in Astana on November 28.
Nazeli Baghdasaryan, the spokesperson of the prime minister, said this in a conversation with Aysor.am. When asked what was the reason for not participating, Baghdasaryan answered:
"Well, because RA's position on freezing participation in CSTO activities has not changed."
To remind, Armenia has announced that it freezes its participation in CSTO events, has refused to allocate its share of funding to that structure, has not participated in joint military exercises and meetings for a long time, but has not officially applied to start the process of withdrawing from CSTO.
