At least six people, including two soldiers, were killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes on checkpoints on the border between Syria and Lebanon. This was reported by the Syrian SANA agency, referring to the source of the Ministry of Defense.

"At 00:05 local time, the Israeli enemy carried out an aggression from the airspace of Lebanon, firing in the direction of the checkpoints of the province of Homs, which is located on the border between Syria and Lebanon," the interlocutor of the agency said.

As a result of the attack, at least 12 people, including women and children, were injured. In addition, employees of the Syrian Red Crescent were injured.
