The British demanded new parliamentary elections

A petition for holding new parliamentary elections in the UK due to dissatisfaction with the policies of the Labor government has received more than two million signatures, according to the official website of the British Parliament.  As of 3 p.m., the petition had already been signed by more than 2 million Britons. A petition on the parliament website was posted by pub owner Michael Westwood, in which he complained that Labor, led by Prime Minister Keir Starmer, had broken promises made before the previous election.

A YouGov survey on October 25 found that current UK Labor Prime Minister Keir Starmer is doing the worst job as head of government since 2007, according to public opinion, second only to Conservative Liz Truss. The last parliamentary elections in Britain took place on July 4, Labor won 412 seats, securing an absolute majority in parliament and displacing the previously ruling Conservatives. The next day, Labor leader Keir Starmer officially became the 58th Prime Minister of Great Britain.
