As beforewe reported, the two-day summit of the Group of Twenty countries (G20) was opened in Rio de Janeiro.
Leaders of all G20 countries and other countries including Angola, Bolivia, Qatar, Colombia, Egypt, Malaysia, Nigeria, Singapore and Vietnam are invited to the meeting.
It should be noted that the Russian delegation is headed by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Brazil has chosen sustainable development, the reform of global governance and institutions, including the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund and the World Trade Organization, social inclusion and the fight against hunger as the central themes of its presidency.
