Grossi said Iran is increasing its stockpile of enriched uranium to 60%

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, announced that Iran continues to increase its uranium reserves up to 60%. According to Armenpress, this was reported by TASS. The head of the agency said that he presented the members of the organization with the regular report of the inspection of IAEA guarantees in Iran. "You will notice that the reserves of enriched uranium in Iran continue to grow, including up to 60 percent enriched uranium reserves," he said at a press conference dedicated to the opening of the IAEA Board of Governors session. Grossi noted that he was worried about "public statements about the technical capabilities of producing nuclear weapons in Iran and possible changes in Iran's nuclear doctrine." Grossi added that the IAEA will not be able to unequivocally confirm the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program if Tehran does not fulfill its part of the safeguards agreement. At the same time, he stated that the IAEA has no information that would confirm the existence of a nuclear weapons program in Iran. We have no verifiable information that Iran has a nuclear weapons program," he said at a press conference.
