Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan received the Secretary General of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe Mathieu Morey, the person in charge of Armenia programs of the Congress Secretariat Nial Sherin and the head of the Council of Europe office in Yerevan Maxim Longange.
During the meeting, the possibilities of the continuation of cooperation in the field of social protection were discussed, including the support of people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, the development of the social worker institute and a number of other directions.
The possibility of implementing joint programs in the direction of the social worker's institute, as well as the development of capacities and skills of social workers was also considered. Appreciating the importance of cooperation in various fields, the parties emphasized the role of the works carried out within the framework of the European Social Charter.
the importance of the existence of the potential for the development of cooperation and the investment of continuous efforts in this direction was also emphasized. At the end of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to implement the discussed issues in practice.
