Doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, Kh. Shoghik Babkeni Oskanyan, former head of the Preschool Pedagogy and Methodology Chair of the Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Abovyan.
For decades, he devoted his life to education, the development of pedagogical science and the education of generations. With his scientific and pedagogical activities, he made a great contribution to the study of Armenian pedagogical thought, especially the history of the Western Armenian school and pedagogy.
Shoghik Babkeni Oskanyan is the author of many valuable scientific works and monographs, was awarded the Kh. Commemorative medal of the 90th anniversary of the Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Abovyan.
The funeral will take place on May 18, at 18:00, in the church of St. Hovhannes Kondi.
