"Armenia does not want membership in the European Union," wrote international expert Suren Sargsyan.
"They know it very well in Moscow, Brussels, Washington, and Yerevan.
Moreover, they don't want it neither in Moscow, nor in Brussels, nor in Washington, and even more so, not in Yerevan.
If Armenia had such an intention, it had a historic opportunity to announce it just a week ago and request the support of the European Union on the spot.
However, since this did not happen, it can be assumed that the speculations on the topic at this stage are mainly populist and pre-election in nature.
