On April 19, an explosion took place in Tavush marz. Around 2:25 p.m., information was received from the "Fort" medical center in the Tavush department of the main police department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs that a man was taken to them for medical treatment with the diagnosis of "traumatic amputation of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd fingers of the right wrist" as a result of an unknown explosion in his hand while working in the field.
As reportedphotojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the operative group of the Tavush police department, led by the head of the department Artur Lobyan, went to the hospital, where it was found that the injured person is 29-year-old Arthur A., a resident of Tavush region.
C. According to Shamshyan's information, Arthur N. informed the officers of Tavush police department that on the same day at around 14:00, while cleaning the garage next to their private house, he found a grenade detonator in a box, which exploded as a result of careless handling and he received the mentioned injuries.
According to the photojournalist, Arthur N.'s father, 57-year-old Gagik A., a resident of Tavush region, told the police that the found object belonged to his late father, Boris A., who acquired it in 1990-1994. during the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
Documents were drawn up in the Tavush department of the police regarding the incident, which were transferred to the Berd investigative department of the Tavush regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee.
