Yesterday, on May 2, another incident took place in the "Armavir" penitentiary institution of the RA Ministry of Justice. Around 19:00, the body of the detainee was found hanging in the 6th quarantine cell on the 1st floor of the said penitentiary.
As reportedphotojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, they managed to save him, but he was transferred to the "Vagharshapat" medical center in an extremely serious condition.
As a result of the incident, criminal proceedings were initiated in the Vagharshapat investigative department of the Armavir Marz Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
G. According to Shamshyan, the person who attempted suicide is Indian by nationality.
