An investigation has been launched in Spain regarding the incident with the king and the prime minister

Spain's Civil Guard has launched an investigation into the incident, which took place on November 3 when King Felipe VI and Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez visited flood-affected areas. As Minister of Internal Affairs Fernando Grande-Marlasca explained, during the incident an unknown person hit the Prime Minister.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs condemned what happened. According to him, "the information headquarters of the Civil Guard took over the examination."

Grande-Marlaska emphasized that it can be concluded from how the events developed that the aggressive participants of the incident acted in an organized manner.
On November 3, Philip VI visited the areas affected by floods in the east of the country with his wife Letizia, Sanchez and Carlos Mason, head of the Cabinet of the Autonomous Community of Valencia.
