Yesterday, February 18, a car accident took place in Yerevan. Around 9:55 p.m., BMW cars driven by 23-year-old Zohrab A. and Kia Forte cars driven by 32-year-old Aren A. collided on Sebastia Street, in front of the Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District District Hall.
As reported by a photojournalistGagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, 1 person was transferred to "Astghik" medical center.
The patrols of the 2nd company of the 2nd battalion of the Yerevan regiment of the Police Patrol Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, led by the battalion commander Levon Badalyan and the deputy battalion commander Karen Avetisyan, arrived at the scene.
The territory was demarcated by the patrols of the same company.
The information about the accident was transferred from the Yerevan Police Regiment to the Traffic Crime Investigation Department of the Yerevan Investigation Committee of the RA Investigative Committee, from where the investigative team headed by Deputy Heads of the Department Grigor Avetisyan, Artur Adamyan and the investigator on duty of the day arrived.
Due to the fact of the accident, criminal proceedings have been initiated in the investigation department, where the identity of the car owners and the injured are being ascertained.
