Today, on February 15, a major car accident took place in Gegharkunik region. Around 6:20 p.m., "GAZ 3110" and "Volkswagen" cars collided on the 7th km section of the Tsovagyugh-Shorzha-Vardenis highway, as a result of which the latter left the roadway and overturned.
As a photojournalist reports from the sceneGagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, the drivers and 3 passengers were taken to the "Sevan" medical center with physical injuries.
Citizens were the first to help the wounded and, according to the citizens, the teams of emergency doctors of the "Sevan" medical center promptly arrived and provided first aid to the wounded before taking them to the hospital.
Due to the fact of the accident, criminal proceedings have been initiated in the investigation department of Sevan, where the identities of the car owners, drivers and injured people are revealed.
