The Pentagon has announced a new $425 million aid package to Ukraine

The United States has allocated a new package of $425 million in military aid to Ukraine, the country's Ministry of Defense announced. According to the Pentagon, this tranche is already the 69th since August 2021. As part of the new aid package, Ukraine will receive "additional capabilities to meet its most urgent security and defense needs, including air-to-air interception systems, ammunition for missile and artillery systems, armored vehicles and anti-tank weapons."

The package, in particular, includes ammunition for NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems, Stinger missiles, equipment and ammunition for countering unmanned systems, aircraft ammunition, ammunition for HIMARS systems, 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells and a number of other weapons.
