Let's come from a little distance, however much the actual speech is about our today's tragicomic situation. It is said that years ago, for tornadoes, hurricanes and generally bad weather conditions in the USA, they went to court...against God.
The court did not accept the claim, but with a rather "luxurious" reason, that is, "due to the fact that the address and location of the defendant are unknown." Allegedly, the rest is "o-key", and if God's specific address was at hand, they would immediately judge.
They say, after all, they announced an international manhunt for God. They are still searching... We remembered this comical, most probably anecdotal "they say..." because of actual and very specific events happening in our country today.
Let us briefly recall the sequence of events. As is known, Gevorg (Arman) Saroyan, the former leader of the Masyatsotn Diocese, among the bishops who renounced their vows, expelled themselves from the Armenian Apostolic Church and practically served Nikol Pashinyan's political interests, was released from the spiritual position of diocesan leader on January 10 by the patriarchal administration of the Catholicos.
Pashinyan and some Kpaka clerics hastened to announce that for them Gevorg (Arman) Saroyan continues to be the leader of Masyatsotn Diocese. Such statements in themselves can be considered rhetoric.
And if we put emotional perceptions aside, from a "dry" legal point of view, those statements of Pashinyan and his official cover-ups are an obvious fact of grossly violating the Constitution, the country's constitutional order, grossly interfering with the internal life and autonomy of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church.
By the way, the law firm "Amsterdam and Partners" also announced this, noting that the use of the secular court's tools to examine the church decisions of the Holy Mother See of Etchmiadzin (especially in disciplinary matters of the clergy) is a sharp deviation from the constitutional order of Armenia and the European legal norms regulating the separation of Church and State.
"Amsterdam and Partners" urges the state courts of Armenia to immediately stop the judicial and political interference in the internal administration of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, to respect the constitutional separation of the Church and the state and to bring state practices in line with RA legislation and European democratic standards.
In other cases, the behavior of the authorities and the judges and law enforcement officers carrying out their instructions should have caused certain criminal legal consequences.
But in today's Armenia, law and legitimacy exist exclusively for oppositionists, non-authorities, and Armenian clergy. And the authorities can commit any ugliness and illegality and remain unpunished. Let's briefly note that the mentioned former clergyman was both ordained by the same Catholicos of All Armenians, and was appointed to serve in the Masyatsot Diocese under the direction of the same Reverend.
Again, let's put emotions aside. the one who appointed him, the same spiritual institute released him from that position. And that is his exclusive and sovereign right. But the continuation is more caring.
Gevorg (Arman) Saroyan continued to oppose the administration of the Catholicos, openly split (from the ecclesiastical, religious point of view), joined those who illegally obstructed the legal activities of the cleric appointed as the deputy head of Masyatsotn Diocese. Moreover, most likely, at the urging of his leader Nikol Pashinyan, Gevorg (Arman) Saroyan... sued the Reverend, disputing his decision to remove him from the post of diocesan leader.
That in itself is not only a legal absurdity, but beyond absurdity. The internal problems of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the issues of spiritual service are not subject to judicial dispute. And, as we mentioned, knowledgeable lawyers and jurists say the same.
But another illegal, illegal, reason-defying event is taking place: the court is accepting the lawsuit of the ex-bishop of Kupka. By the way, folk humor is unstoppable. The people not only labeled the bishops who became Pashinyans with the definition of "tiradav", but also gave them a more witty definition: "KPiskopos".
In sum of all that, already on January 27, by the decision of the Supreme Spiritual Council, Gevorg Saroyan is declared disbanded, that is, he ceases to be a clergyman, at least, a clergyman of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The name of the pool, Arman Saroyan, is returned to him.
However, yesterday, the Pashinyan government carried out another military operation against the Armenian Apostolic Church. The Service for the Execution of Judicial Acts, not having the legal, judicial, or moral right and competence, is trying to compel the Catholicos to return to the post of diocesan leader the civilian who betrayed the Armenian Apostolic Church, moreover, as a means of securing the claim.
In other words, at the same time when Pashinyan's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan openly lies to the Europeans that there are no pressures against the clergy, the Armenian Apostolic Church is being attacked by the Armenian Apostolic Church. Well, plus the Investigative.
Naturally, this is beyond the limits of all human, legal, moral, and national norms. This is a blatant injustice, self-righteousness, and a manifestation of open immorality.
The continuation will probably be that people who are weak in arithmetic will apply to the court so that 5 times 5 is 10, not 25, and as a "means of securing a lawsuit" all textbooks and calculators that count 5x5 will be banned. Sarcasm, sarcasm, but it is more than clear that this whole scandalous "presentation" (with the DAH, CC, prosecutor's office, Pashinyan's government has taken the initiative in order to have some "criminal case" against the Supreme Spiritual Council and the Catholicos, even if it is based on the most stupid, most stupid reasoning, which in itself will ensure not only a ticket to hell for the perpetrators, but also a "ticket to prison" in the future.
And that "case" will be used in order to defeat the holding of the Episcopal meeting scheduled for February in Austria, to detain the Reverend, and possibly to torture him in the detention center. Anything can be expected from the Pashinyan authorities. However, there is an important... "but" in all of this.
It is that both Nikol Pashinyan and his church-hating, creationist, group that wants to destroy the Armenian Apostolic Church are not enough to decide who is the Catholicos, or whether they accept or not accept the offices of the Catholicos. Who are they against our centuries-old Church and the Holy One who leads it?
Charents would have said: trivial, like a stone thrown to Ararat... By the way, as an addition, perhaps it is not unnecessary to remind the partial judges, investigators, and other representatives of the law enforcement system who fulfill Pashinyan's whims that there should be a limit to everything, even servitude. there are values, there are red lines that should never be crossed.
After all, no power in the world is eternal, even more so in Armenia. And no one can avoid God's judgment at all...
