Iran is preparing a large-scale retaliatory attack from the territory of Iraq. Israeli intelligence

According to Israeli intelligence, Iran is planning to launch a large-scale attack on Israel from Iraq in the next few days, the Axios news platform reports, referring to its Israeli sources.

"Israeli intelligence suggests that the attack will be carried out from the territory of Iraq, using a large number of drones and ballistic missiles," said one of the sources.

Axios does not specify who exactly will carry out these strikes from Iraq. pro-Iranian Shiite paramilitary forces operate in that country.

In turn, CNN, citing its high-ranking Iranian source, reported earlier that Tehran is planning to give a "decisive and painful" response to Israel, and it is likely to happen before the US presidential elections on November 5.

On the night of October 26, Israel carried out a series of airstrikes on Iranian military facilities, as a result of which four Iranian soldiers were killed.

This strike was carried out in response to Iran's firing of around 200 rockets at Israel on October 1.
The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Hossein Salami, said on October 31 that Israel was wrong to attack Iran last week and that Iran's fate "will be different from any scenario" that Israel can expect.

For his part, Mohammadi Golpayegani, the head of Iran's supreme leader's staff, told al Mayadeen TV on October 31 that Tehran's answer is "clear".

According to him, Iran's response will be strong and "will make our enemy regret" his attack.
