Lukashenko called for the withdrawal of American nuclear weapons from Eurasia

The American nuclear weapons should be removed from the Eurasian territory, said the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.

"Today, we consider it necessary to announce a series of, in our opinion, priority measures aimed at reducing tension in the world. First of all, to create real tension and dialogue, it is necessary to remove American nuclear weapons from Eurasian countries," Lukashenko said at the Minsk II international conference dedicated to Eurasian security.

The second point, the president noted, was the elimination of the practice of applying illegal sanctions without the decision of the UN Security Council.

"Third, a new treaty and legal mechanism must be developed to create a transparent, universally understood control regime for new lethal technologies that can destroy all humanity even without nuclear weapons," Lukashenko added.

This type of technology, according to the president, includes lasers, hypersonic, quantum, electromagnetic systems and others.

The fourth point was to abandon the use of cyber weapons, Lukashenko said.
