Peskov announced Russia's interest in developing relations with the DPRK

Russia is interested in the development of relations with the DPRK in all spheres, this should not scare anyone, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President.

"We remain committed to our interests in developing relations with our neighbor, the DPRK, essentially in all areas, and this should not frighten or worry anyone, it is the sovereign right of both the DPRK and Russia to develop relations, being neighboring states," Peskov told reporters, answering a question about the launch of a ballistic missile by the DPRK and Russia's alleged assistance in military technology.

On Thursday, North Korea launched an intercontinental ballistic missile at 7:11 am (01:11 Moscow time). It fell at 8:37 a.m. (2:37 a.m. Moscow time) near the island of Okushiri in Hokkaido, outside the exclusive economic zone.
