Japan has called the DPRK missile's flight height the highest ever

The flight time and height of the missile launched by the DPRK on Thursday are the maximum for the entire period of the test. According to Japanese Defense Minister Gen Nakatani, the missile was in flight for 86 minutes, the height of the flight exceeded 7 thousand km.

"The flight time was 86 minutes, which is the longest flight time. The height of the flight exceeded 7000 km, which is different from before," he said.
According to Nakatani, the Japanese government believes that North Korea has launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).

"It can be assumed that the missile launched this time is intercontinental, but we continue to analyze whether it was a new type," he said.

Japan's coast guard said the missile fell about 300 km west of Okushiri Island, outside the country's exclusive economic zone.
