Floods in Spain have killed 51 people

As a result of the floods in Spain, 51 people died in the autonomous community of Valencia, The Associated Press agency reports.
    
Due to the heavy rains, the streets turned into rivers in several villages, the railway communication was disrupted, the highways were closed. The heavy rains caused floods in the southern and eastern regions of Spain. A high-speed train with almost 300 passengers derailed in Malaga. there are no casualties.

The floodwaters flowing through the streets swept away the cars at high speed. Police and rescuers deployed helicopters to rescue people from the roofs of houses and cars. More than 1,000 soldiers of Spain's rapid reaction units have been sent to the regions affected by the floods.

According to forecasts, storms will continue until October 31 inclusive. Scientists warn that extreme weather conditions, such as heat waves and hurricanes, are becoming more intense due to climate change.
