North Korean Foreign Minister Choi Song Hui will hold talks with officials in Moscow today, however, as the Russian Embassy in Pyongyang reported yesterday, the minister's visit takes place within the framework of the "Strategic Dialogue" agreement reached by the leaders of the two countries at the June summit.
According to the KCNA news agency, Choi Song Hee left Pyongyang for the Russian Federation on October 28.
As the diplomatic source told "RIA Novosti", the DPR Foreign Minister was in Vladivostok on Tuesday, and will hold talks in Moscow on Wednesday. However, the source did not clarify with whom exactly the negotiations will take place.
The Russian Embassy in North Korea, for its part, noted that the parties plan to hold regular consultations on bilateral relations and international policy issues "both at the highest diplomatic level and between supervising deputy foreign ministers and heads of structural units."
