Putin assessed the situation with unemployment in the Russian Federation

The unemployment rate in the Russian Federation continues to fall lower and lower, said the country's President Vladimir Putin.
RIA Novosti writes about this.

The head of state commented on the situation on the labor market during a speech at the XIII Congress of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of the Russian Federation. The event took place in Moscow.

“The policies of recent years, the efforts of the business community and trade unions have contributed to the fact that the unemployment rate in the Russian Federation is falling lower and lower, with each quarter updating its historical minimum,” the Russian leader noted.

As he said, in August 2024 the unemployment rate in the country was 2.4%. This figure was also recorded in the previous two months. At the same time, the value turned out to be minimal compared to a number of other leading countries in the world, Putin emphasized.
