One of Georgia's polling stations was closed

One of the polling stations opened for the parliamentary elections in Georgia, the 69th polling station of Marneuli, has been closed. This is reported by aliq.ge. Before that, footage from the polling station was published, where one of the voters throws ballots into the ballot box. After that, the observers demanded to cancel the election results of that area.

The person who published the video of this incident stated that the observers were first subjected to physical violence and then expelled from the area. The CEC president responded to the footage of the ballot stuffing in Marneuli and called on the Marneuli election commission to clarify the situation.

"This is troubling information, and the administration will not allow incidents like this to derail the efforts we've been putting in for months leading up to Election Day. I want to raise an alarm and ask the Marneuli district election commission to find out the situation, convene a commission meeting and make an appropriate decision," he said.
