9.27 percent of the total number of voters have already voted in the Georgian parliamentary elections

As of 10:00 Tbilisi time, 324 thousand 197 people have voted in the parliamentary elections, which is 9.27 percent of the total number of voters.
This is reported by the Georgian media, based on the statement of Natia Ioseliani, press secretary of the Central Election Commission of Georgia.
Parliamentary elections in Georgia started at 8:00 am.
Voters have to choose from 18 parties. Those parties, in favor of which at least 5 percent of the voters will vote, will enter the Parliament of Georgia. How the mandates will be distributed among the parties that passed the electoral threshold will be known after the Central Electoral Commission summarizes the final results of the elections, considering all complaints and waiting for the courts to decide on the observers' complaints, if any.
It is noted that the election process is being monitored by more than 1,700 observers from international organizations, as well as more than 23,000 observers from 111 local organizations.
It is reported that the voting process will last until 20:00, after which the electoral commissions will start counting votes. The first voting results will be published 2-3 hours after the polls close.
The final briefing at the CEC of Georgia is scheduled for 22:00.
