Ukrainian media reported explosions in Kyiv

Explosions occurred on Friday in Kyiv amid an air raid warning, reports the Ukrainian agency RBC-Ukraine.

“There are explosions in Kyiv, air defense is working,” says a message published on the agency’s Telegram channel.

According to the online map of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, an air raid warning is sounding in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

The Russian Armed Forces began striking the Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022 - two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which, according to the Russian authorities, was behind the Ukrainian special services. Strikes are being carried out against energy, defense industry, military command and communications facilities throughout the country. Since then, air raid alerts have been announced every day in Ukrainian regions, sometimes throughout the country. At the same time, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov stated that Russian troops in battles with the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not attack residential buildings and social infrastructure.
