Power outage schedules have been introduced in three districts of the Zaporozhye region

Schedules for temporary restrictions on electricity consumption have been introduced in three municipal districts of the Zaporizhzhia region, reported the governor of the region, Evgeniy Balitsky, in his Telegram channel.

“A decision was made to put into effect schedules for temporary restrictions on electricity consumption in the Kuibyshevsky, Pologovsky and Chernigovsky municipal districts,” he wrote.

Healthcare facilities have been transferred to backup power sources.

The decision was made due to the increase in electricity consumption and the limited capacity of the lines and transformers remaining in operation due to damage to energy facilities as a result of terrorist attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he explained.

The Ministry of Energy of the Zaporozhye region has been instructed to quickly develop backup sources of electricity for front-line areas, the governor added.
