The talks between the presidents of Russia and Turkey Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan took place in Kazan.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Russian President expressed his condolences regarding the terrorist attack in Turkey.
Erdogan stated that the efforts aimed at the regulation of interbank transactions between Turkey and Russia are continuing. He invited the Russian President to Turkey.
"We are eagerly waiting for you, Mr. President, in our country," Erdogan said.
Putin noted that he sees the settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict only on the basis of a two-state resolution. The head of the Russian Federation noted that the principled positions of Russia and Turkey regarding the situation in the Middle East are "very close".
