With the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings in the RA Anti-Corruption Committee, the person who took the post of senior Ecoparek of the Tavush regional department of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia did not fulfill his official duties, which resulted in significant damage to the legal interests of the state.
In particular, it turned out that the person who held the post of Senior Ecoparek was informed about the fact that "Hayantar" SNCO "Artsvaberd" did not fulfill his official responsibilities. He did not take measures to prevent illegal tree felling and did not provide a report on a crime. Moreover, the tree felling was urged to disguise the fact of illegal tree felling by "blackening" the incident of illegal tree felling.
In addition, Senior Ecoparek for two people is illegal inactivity, which is not taken into account for illegal felling in the territory of Artsvaberd for not illegal.
Ecoparek was charged with Article 441, Clause 1 of Article 441, Clause 1 of Article 441 (3 episode), and paragraphs 1 and 3 of Article 436 of the RA Criminal Code (3 episode). Detention was used as a precautionary measure against Ecoparek, and home detention against the other two defendants.
The preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings is over, and the materials of the proceedings were sent to the RA Anti-Corruption Court with an indictment.
Notice: The person accused of crime is considered innocent as long as his guilt has not been proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code, the judgment entitled to the court.
