Turkish authorities have secretly banned the export to Russia of goods of American origin, which the West considers necessary for Moscow to continue hostilities, the Financial Times writes.
As noted in the publication, Türkiye made this decision after a warning from the United States.
More than 40 categories of goods were banned, the publication reports.
According to the source, the restrictions were not discussed publicly due to “political sensitivity.”
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the country's desire to expand ties with BRICS.
