Turkey may be considered possible to hold early presidential elections

Presidential elections in Turkey may not take place not in 2028, but at the end of 2027. Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu made such a statement, Halk TV reports.

"It is possible that the presidential elections will be held at the end of 2027," he said.

In May, Anadolu news agency, citing the head of the Turkish parliament's digital media commission, said that the country's ruling Justice and Development Party hopes that Erdogan will be re-elected for a new presidential term.
