Has been named grocer that causes intestinal inflammation

Red meat can contribute to the development of inflammatory intestinal diseases, violating the balance of microflora. This conclusion was researchers from the Chinese Medical University of China. The work was published in the Molecular Nutrition and Food Research (MNFR) magazine.

During the experiment, the mice of micars was fed by different types of red meat, pork, beef and lamb. Then the animals were artificially motivated to develop inflammation in a thick saline. It turned out that the inflammation of all the groups that received the meat diet was worse.

Scientists have recorded excessive and immune cell penetration intestinal tissue. The analysis of the microbiotics showed streptococcus, Akkermansia, the number of faecalibacterium and the amount of Lactococcus bacteria, while the proportion of Clostridium and Mucispirillum bacteria increased.

"Our study shows a close connection between food, intestinal microflora and immunity and can contribute to the development of new approaches to the treatment of inflammatory intestinal diseases," said one of the authors of the study, Dr. Dan Thierry of Medical Sciences.
